Magnet is a personal notes and to-do app. Your privacy is simple here, because we designed the app so there is almost nothing to protect: Magnet does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.
Nothing. The app has no account, no sign-up, and no login. We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking tools.
Every magnet, photo, doodle, and calendar entry you create is stored only on your device (and briefly in Apple's own iCloud/App Group container so your Lock Screen widget can show it). It never leaves your device ecosystem and is never sent to our servers — we don't have any. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.
If you choose to create a photo magnet, Magnet asks permission to use your camera or photo library. These photos are used solely to make magnets on your board and stay on your device. The "remove background" feature processes the image entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision technology — no photo is ever uploaded anywhere.
If you turn on the optional daily reminder, Magnet schedules a local notification on your device. This does not involve any server and sends no information anywhere.
"Magnet Plus" and any Shop items are one-time in-app purchases handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchases are managed through your Apple ID under Apple's own privacy policy.
Magnet is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
